What are the benefits of first spraying in chilli nursery

  • In Chilli nursery it is very necessary to spray in the span of 10-15 days after sowing.

  • By this spray, diseases such as stem rot, root rot, do not occur on chilli crops.

  • The early stage pests of chilli nursery can be easily controlled.

  • In this stage, the use of these products in chilli nursery is very beneficial.

  • When the nursery is in a stage of 10 days, it is the  initial stage of germination . In this stage, spray can be done in two ways.

  • Spraying of Thiamethoxam  25% WG @ 10 gram/pump or  Beauveria Bassiana @ 5 -10 gram/liter to avoid pest infestation, and Thiophanate Methyl 70% W/W@ 30 gram/pump or Trichoderma viride + Pseudomonas fluorescens @  5-10 gram/liter for prevention of any fungal diseases,  with this spray add  humic acid @ 10 gram / pump for a good growth.

How to control white fly in sponge gourd

  • This pest causes a lot of damage in  sponge gourd  crops in both the stages of its life cycle i.e. nymph and adult.

  • They suck the cell sap out of  sponge gourd plant leaves and inhibit plant growth. These insects are also the cause for the secretion known as a sooty mold developed on the plant.

  •  Sponge gourd can get completely infected during high infestation and even if the crop is fully developed, there is a chance of infestation of this pest which can cause the leaves of this crop to dry up and fall.

  • For the prevention of this pest, Diafenthiuron 50% SP @ 250 gram/acre or Flonicamid 50% WG @ 60 ml/acre or acetampyrid 20% SP @ 100 gram/acre or Pyriproxyfen 10% + biphenanthrene 10% EC 250 ml/acre.

With a view to becoming self-sufficient in the production of oilseed crops, the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare has devised a new strategy. Under this strategy, oilseed seeds will be distributed free in the form of mini kits to the farmers in this kharif season.

In this episode, the seeds of different oilseed crops will be spent in states like Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar according to the assessment of the ministry. Soon, more information related to this scheme is also going to be given by the government.

government will give 140% subsidy on DAP fertilizer

The central government has increased the subsidy on DAP fertilizer by 140 percent. Farmers will now get subsidy on DAP from Rs 500 per bag to Rs 1200 per bag. By increasing the subsidy, farmers will now get a bag of DAP at Rs 1200 instead of Rs 2400.

  • High soil moisture and moderate temperature  along with high humidity, leads to the  development of this disease.  

  • It is also known as damping off disease, this disease is seen in the stage of chilli nursery.

  • Post-emergence damping off results in pathogens attacking the collar region of seedlings on the surface of soil.  

  • The collar portion rots and ultimately the  seedling collapses and dies. 

  • Healthy seeds should be selected before sowing.

  • Spray of Carbenazim 12% + Mancozeb 63% WP@ 30 gram /pump  or Thiophanate Methyl 70% W/W @ 30 gm/Pump or Mancozeb 64%+ Metalaxyl 8% WP @ 60 gram/pump.
