Food processing industries apply for heavy government subsidy of 50%

The government is running a grant, incentive scheme for those wishing to start a food processing industry. Food processing industry manufacturers wishing to receive incentives / grants can apply in this scheme. Under this, the guideline officer has been registered on the website www.mofpi.nic.in.

According to the Union Minister of Agriculture and Food Processing Industries, Mr. Narendra Singh Tomar, “The Government of India has approved the Production Linked Incentive Scheme for food processing industries during the years 2021-22 to 2026-27 with a budget of Rs. 10,900 crore. The ministry has issued detailed guidelines. “

Explain that the Ministry of Food Processing Industries is inviting applications under this scheme from three categories of applicants for getting sales based incentives and grants for starting branding and marketing activities abroad.

The scheme will provide subsidy at the rate of 50% of the total expenditure on branding and marketing abroad and the minimum expenditure for this will be Rs 5 crore in a period of 5 years. The last date to apply for this scheme is 17 June 2021 till 5 pm.

What are the measures to control the white grub before sowing of cotton crop

  • White grubs as the name suggests are white colored insects that live as a grub in a field whose dormancy period is in the winter.

  • They initially damage cotton plant  roots. Symptoms of white grub include a complete withering of the plant or stunting of the plant resulting in the plant dying.

  • For control of this insect , in the month of June and July,use Metarhizium culture (kalichakra) along with FYM (2 kg + 50-75 kg)  per acre for control of white grub

  • But if infestation of white grub is visible even in the immature stage of cotton crop, then chemical treatment can also be done to control this pest.

  • use  FENPROPATHRIN 10% EC 10% EC @ 500 ml / acre, CLOTHIANIDIN  50.00% WG @ (Dantotsu) 100 g / acre as soil mix.

With the advent of electric tractors, there will be a big change in the tractor industry. Many tractor manufacturing companies have been gearing up for this change. In this episode, first Sonalika and now another tractor manufacturer has completed the testing of electric tractors with success. It was tested at the Central Farm Machinery Training and Testing Institute located at Budni, Madhya Pradesh.

It is not yet certain how long these electric tractors will come on the market. The Sonalika company has also made an electric tractor and it is being said that the cost of this electric tractor will be reduced by less than a quarter as compared to diesel tractors. The company has said that this tractor can be easily charged from the domestic socket as well and once fully charged it will take about 10 hours.

  • Star Field 9211 and Star Field Shark-1: A good quality plant with thick leaves, the first fruit maturity of this variety is in 60-65 days, fruit color is dark green, the color of mature fruit is dark red. It is 8-9 centimeters in length and the thickness of the fruit is 0.8 – 1.0 centimeters. The pungency of this variety is very high. This type of fruit is suitable for drying and selling, the variety is resistant to fungal diseases.

  • US Agri 720: Good quality plant, the first fruit of this variety matures in 60-65 days, the color of the fruit is dark green, the color of the mature fruit is deep red, the length of the fruit is 18-20 cm and the thickness of the fruit is 1.2 cm,pungency is very high in this variety, fruit is very good in weight.

The length of the fruit is 6-8 centimeters and the thickness of the fruit of this variety is 1.1 – 1.2 centimeters. The Pungency of this variety is very high. The fruits of this variety can be sold both fresh and Dry. This variety is resistant to leaf curl virus.

  • BASF Armor: The plant of this variety is Semi-Erect and strong. The maturity of the first fruit is in 50-55 days. The surface of the fruit is semi-wrinkled. Fresh green fruit is harvested at an interval of 8-10 days. And the length and thickness is 9X1 cm.

  • Divya Shakti (Shakti – 51): The plant of this variety is a strong and more branched plant.The maturity of the First fruit is in 42-50 days. The color of the fruit is dark green. The length of the fruit is 6-8 centimeters. The thickness of the fruit is 0.7 – 0.8 centimeters. The pungency of this variety is very high. It’s a very hot chilli and is dark red in color. When the fruit is dry, the market price is high. This variety is 100% resistant to leaf curl virus.

  • Huveg Sania 03: The plant of this variety is erect and the maturity of the First fruit is in 50-55 days. The mature fruit is red and the color of immature fruit is yellowish green. The length of the fruit is 15-17 centimeters. And the thickness of the fruit is 0.3 MM. The pungency of this variety is very high. This variety is suitable for drying. It is a hybrid variety with good yield.

  • Pod borer mainly harms the pods of the  green gram crop. This insect damages the  green gram pod by piercing it and eating its grain inside.

  • To control this, spray Emamectin benzoate 5% SG @ 100 gram/acre or flubendiamide 39.35% SC @ 100 gram/acre or chlorantraniliprole 18.5% SC @ 60 ml/acre.

  • Spray Bavaria Bassiana @ 250 gram/acre as a biological treatment.
