Onion farmers of three districts including Indore will get government assistance

Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh is included in the Amrit Mahotsav scheme being run by the Central Government and Collector Deepak Singh has given instructions to provide suitable markets to make Sagar’s onion farmers self-reliant. He said that its branding would also be done for the unique identity of the onion of Sagar district.

Collector Mr Singh informed that under the Central Government’s self-reliant Amrit Mahotsav scheme, 3 districts have been selected in Madhya Pradesh, which includes Sagar, Damoh and Indore. State Agriculture Minister Kamal Patel has announced to give loans up to Rs 25 lakh to the youth. This loan is planned to be given to the youth for grading of food grains – cleaning plant, pulse mill, rice mill etc.

Let us tell you that 40% of the loan of 25 lakhs to be given will also be given by the government. This loan will be given to the youth under the ‘Custom Processing Scheme’ of Madhya Pradesh.
