  • For managing the disease effectively, healthy seed should be used. 
  • Crop rotation of 2-3 years with non-related crops should be followed. 
  • Spray fungicides, Mancozeb 75% WP @ 800 gm/acre  or 
  • Hexaconazole 5% SC @ 400 ml/acre or 
  • Propiconazole 25% EC @ 200 ml/ acre at 10-15 days intervals from 30 days after transplanting or as soon as disease appears.

Purple Blotch in Onion

  • Initially small, elliptical lesions or spots that often turn purplish-brown which are surrounded by chlorotic margin. If the spots enlarge, chlorotic margin extend above and below the actual lesion. Lesions usually girdle leaves, causing them to fall over. Lesions may also start at the tips of older leaves.
  • Hot and humid climate temperature ranging from  21-30 oC and relative humidity (80-90%) favour the development of  the disease.  
  • The Infected plants fail to develop bulbs.

क्या है प्रधानमंत्री किसान पेंशन योजना?

  1. आप इसके लिए अपने नजदीकी कॉमन सर्विस सेंटर (CSC) पर जाकर अपना नाम दर्ज करवा सकते हैं।
  2. केंद्रीय कृषि मंत्रालय (Ministry of Agriculture) के संयुक्त सचिव राजबीर सिंह के मुताबिक रजिस्ट्रेशन के लिए कोई फीस नहीं लगेगी।
  3. यदि कोई किसान बीच में स्कीम छोड़ना चाहता है तो उसका पैसा नहीं डूबेगा। उसने स्कीम छोड़ने तक जो पैसे जमा किए होंगे उस पर सेविंग अकाउंट के ब्याज का ब्याज मिलेगा।
  4. वरिष्ठ नागरिक (Senior Citizen) होते ही यानी 60 साल उम्र के बाद हर माह 3000 रुपये पेंशन (Pension) मिलेगी।
  5. इस स्कीम के पात्र 18 से 40 साल उम्र के लोग ही हैं।
  6. 19 साल की उम्र पर 58 रुपये, 20 साल पर 61, 21 पर 64, 22 साल पर 68, 23 पर 72, 24 पर 76,
  7. 25 पर 80, 26 पर 85, 27 पर 90, 28 पर 95, 29 पर 100, 30 साल उम्र पर 105 रुपये प्रतिमाह प्रीमियम देना होगा।
  8. इसी तरह 31 साल के किसान को मासिक 110 रुपये प्रीमियम देना होगा। इसके बाद 40 साल तक हर साल पर 10 रुपये प्रीमियम बढ़ते-बढ़ते 40 साल पर 200 रुपये हो जाएगा।

  2. इस योजना के तहत किसान पीएम-किसान स्कीम से प्राप्‍त लाभ में से सीधे ही अंशदान करने का विकल्‍प चुन
    सकते हैं
  3. अगर लाभ पाने वाले व्यक्ति की मौत हो गई, तो उसके पति/पत्नी को 50% रकम मिलती रहेगी. यानी 1500 रुपये प्रतिमाह
  4. इस कोष का प्रबंधन भारतीय जीवन बीमा निगम (एलआईसी) करेगा.

  • Profenophos 50% EC @ 400 ml/acre. OR
  • Emamectin Benzoate 5% SG @ 80 -100 gm/acre. OR
  • Flubendiamide 39.35 % SC @ 100 ml/acre.
  • Chlorantraniliprole 18.5% SC @ 60 ml/acre.
  • As a biological treatment, spray Bavaria basiana @ 1 liter or kg/acre.

Fertilizer management in Onion

  • Onion needs a heavy dose of fertilizers for a good yield.
  • Farmyard manure @ 8-10 tonnes/Acre may be incorporated into the soil one month before transplanting.
  • Nitrogen 50 kg/Acre, Phosphorus 25 kg/Acre and Potash 30 kg/Acre.
  • Full amount of P, K and half of N are to be added just before transplanting.
  • Rest of the N is to be given as a second dose at 20-25 days after transplanting, and third dose is given at 45-60 days after transplanting.
  • Zinc sulphate application (Znso4@10 kg/Acre) and Boron 4 Kg/Acre increases yield as well as improves the quality of bulb.

Late blight of tomato

  • first appears of  Late blight on the lower, older leaves as water-soaked, grey-green spots. 
  • As the disease matures, these spots darken and a white fungal growth forms on the undersides. Eventually, the entire plant will become infected. 
  • Crops can be severely damaged.
  • The disease spreads quickly in fields and can result in total crop failure if untreated

  • First spray Profenofos 50% EC @ 300 ml/acre + Chlorpyrifos 20% EC @ 500 ml/acre.
  • Second Spray Profenofos 40%EC + Cypermethrin 4 %EC @ 400 ml/acre + Emamatin benzoate 5% SG @ 80-100 gm/acre Or .
  • Third spray Profenofos  300 ml/acre + Flonicamid 50% WG @ 100 gm/acre
  • Fourth spray Chlorantraniliprole 9.3% + Lambda Cyhalothrin 4.6% ZC @ 100 ml/acre or Thiodicarb 75% WP @ 250 gm/acre
  • Spray the Beauveria bassiana @ 1 liter or kg/acre as a biological treatment
