Measures for the problem of fall armyworm pest in maize crop!

Measures for the problem of fall armyworm pest in maize crop

This pest attacks all stages of maize. Generally, it attacks the leaves of maize, but in case of severe infestation, it also starts harming the corn cob. The larvae attack the upper part of the plant or the soft leaves, small holes appear on the leaves of the affected plant.

Newborn larvae scrape and eat the leaves of the plant, causing white stripes to appear on the leaves. As the larva grows up, it completely eats the upper leaves of the plant. Finally, they attack the cobs, which reduces both the quality and the yield.

Control measures

To control, spray Emanova (Emamectin Benzoate 5% SG) @ 80 gm or Cosko (Chlorantraniliprole 18.5% SC) 80 ml + SilicoMaxx gold  @ 50 ml, per acre @ 150 to 200 litres of water.

Will get 50 percent subsidy, will get benefit on installing solar water heater plant

50 percent subsidy on installing solar water heater plant

Now the whole world is slowly coming forward to promote green energy. India is also promoting many types of green energy sources for this. In this series, the Uttarakhand government has also launched a scheme to provide bumper subsidies of up to 50% to those starting solar water heater plants.

Let us tell you that under this scheme, domestic consumers can install plants with a daily capacity of 100 to 500 litres in their homes, on which they will get a 50% subsidy. In contrast, non-domestic consumers, including those in hotels and other residential buildings, can install plants with a daily capacity of 500 to 2000 litres. Plants can be set up at a subsidy of 30%.

Let us tell you that the Central Government also ran a similar scheme but it was stopped after 2014. Now the state government has once again started this scheme so that electricity consumption is reduced and the use of solar energy is promoted. The aim of the state government is that through this scheme the consumption of grid electricity will be reduced and carbon dioxide emissions will also be reduced.
